The Destination Duo consists of 3 items:
Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer – Marrakesh’s Colorful Mirage is a clear base polish packed with gold holographic microglitters, gold shimmers, green micro-flakies, and accents of navy, red, green, orange, and yellow holographic microglitters. Dries textured. Needs topcoat for a glossy shine.
Squashing Water is a warm red base polish packed with gold holographic microglitters, gold shimmers and red and gold micro-flakies. Dries very lightly textured, almost smooth! For a glossy shine you may add a top coat but the polish sparkles so bright in the sun that you may not need any top coat.
Moroccan Mint Mani Bomb is a natural handmade mani fizzy with luxurious cocoa butter to keep your skin moisturized and soft. Organic virgin Avocado oil adds both to the light green color and the luxurious feel. Scented with Moroccan Sweet Mint, to wrap the Moroccan colors experience.

Destination Duo – the Moroccan Experience is a special polish collaboration with Julie of Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer.
It is a special set of 2 nail polish colors and a mani fizz, inspired by this photo that I took during my trip to Morocco.
This picture shows one of Morocco’s famous water sellers in the main square in Marrakesh. Here’s some background:
Once upon a time, the water sellers were actually that: water sellers. They offered water and shade for the ones crossing the desert. Their cloths are brightly colored, to be seen through the dessert sand storms, and their Berber hats have very wide brimmed so they can offer some shade and rest. Today however, no one uses their water anymore. But they still make a fine living out of being paid for taking their pictures…
They do carry a glorious past in their gorgeous outfit. And here is where our polish names came from:
Julie’s polish – Marrakesh’s Colorful Mirage – hints to the important past jobs the water sellers had. while my polish – Squashing Water – hints to the present, where the water is actually, well, useless. And all there is left is the glorious of the past.
The Mani Bomb is lightly scented with sweet mint, the most popular (and most delicious!) tea in Morocco, to wrap your entire Moroccan experience with this set.
